JOYCARE Charity Campaign #4: Disaster Relief Project at Kampung Baru Karak, Bentong

We were truly shocked and saddened by the unfortunate events that has happened to the people of Kampung Baru Karak recently. Fires have destroyed 76 houses and 11 shop lots, forced 80 families to evacuate their homes.

Thanks to Multicare Health Pharmacy for organizing this CSR campaign, namely Disaster Relief project, JOYLEE is able to play our part and stand together with people who have lost their home after the fire. As one of the contributors, JOYLEE has donated RM3000 supporting fund and oximeters to this campaign. Supporting fund would be used to purchase some necessity items like cooking oil, rice and other condiments to the fire victims.

The Disaster Relief project started from 5th October to 7th October 2021 (3 days), at Dewan JJJK Kampung Baru Karak. Other than taking care of the victims by providing shelter and foods, healthcare related items are also distributed to the victims to ensure they are protected from germs-causing illness during this critical moment.

To those who have experienced loss through this fire, our heart goes out to you and your family. You’re not alone, and we’ll get through it together.
